The Call Center Update
The ANGELS Call Center has had a busy 2014! With the new opportunities available through the Affordable Care Act, it has been a time for change, growth, and assisting people with navigating through new changes in healthcare policies by directing them towards people who can give guidance on the Health Exchange. Now that deadlines for registration have passed, we are spending time with focusing on improving high-risk obstetrical transports and internal processes in an effort to make them smoother and timelier for our transporting facilities. We are also working with the entire Women’s Division in expediting OB and GYN referrals and access into our clinics. We’ve recently been invited to participate in a new folic acid initiative designed to promote awareness of the importance of folic acid for healthy reproduction in the diets of females within child-bearing age. So, all in all, it is a busy and exciting time in the world of ANGELS.
