Angel Eye Camera System

BearinBedforwebThe Angel Eye Camera System, developed at UAMS, includes a camera and one-way speaker, which is placed at the baby’s bedside while hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Angel Eye enables families to view and speak to the hospitalized baby, which promotes bonding and reduces anxiety for distant parents.

Currently, 26 cameras are available for families with babies in the UAMS NICU; however, the NICU has 64 beds.
